FitCord Resistance Band- Ultra Heavy (55lb)
Customer ReviewsWrite a review
Much better quality and more resistance than cheaper band alternatives. I had some concern about grip and sheath irritation from prior reviews, but these are both marked improvements from other resistance bands I have, so I believe those concerns to be about some movements in going from dumbbells or machines to resistance bands (like chest press specifically will put the band along your arms, but the sheath is actually smooth against my skin whereas my cheaper tube bands will pull on arm hairs). Therefore have had no issues and only seen marked improvements over my other two cheap band sets. Love that it’s made in USA and is a superior product, very happy with purchase. Safety design is a big bonus and is what got me interested to begin with, since I have toddlers around while exercising and could not trust my other bands to not randomly snap under some of the harder workout days.
Thank you so much Clint. We appreciate the review and we are always happy when someone moves from cheap dangerous bands to our brand. Our who purpose of designing and selling the FitCord line is to provide a safer, more effective and longer lasting option to the cheap imports on the market today.
Most of all, we are happy to provide your home with a safe way to workout with your babies around.
After stepping up to the 55lb band my muscle groups woke up again and so did the soreness lol. The only draw back is the grip straps irratates the skin at the wrist area.
Thank you so much for the review Joe!
I hate the straps rubbed your skin. They are designed to be held onto when working out. If you continue to receive friction irritation, please reach out to us, perhaps we could help. This issue doesn't occur often, so technique could be the culprit, and we would be happy to assist with that.
Very good quality construction
Ok so this one actually has enough tension to make you earn that curl...wow finally not a wimpy band. Why 4? well I like the fabric cover to protect me but sometimes stepping in the middle of the band leaves you a little short in range of motion BUT you can adjust or should I say slide the cover a bit to get the full range. A standard band without protection would really be a 3 because you'd be overpaying for surgical tubing without any protection. Get either the outer sleeve or the ones with an inner rope core...but maybe first figure out the right weight lol and but a new one once you need it
